The 30 Day Love Challenge is an effort to inspire our church community to be more deliberate in expressing love towards and amongst each other.
What is the #30DayLoveChallenge?
A 30-day experience where we will challenge each other to be more deliberate in how we express love towards each other as members of the body of Christ, especially in the current context that the church finds itself.
Why the #30DayLoveChallenge
In John 13:35 Jesus says to His disciples: “By this shall all men know that you are my disciples if you have LOVE for one another.” The 30 Day Challenge aims to encourage us to be more intentional in loving one another as an expression of our commitment to being Christ’s disciples.
How does the #30DayLoveChallenge Work?
We will all be encouraged over the next 30 days to reflect on how we might be more loving, what action we could commit to expressing that love, and how we might ensure that our church community is an environment where love is really experienced.
Every day (starting 10th February 2020) a challenge prompt will be posted. This will be a suggestion of an action you could take for the day as a way of expressing God’s love to someone in the community. The prompts are just suggestions, the main thing is to be making an effort to do something at least once a day.
Here’s to learning to love each other as Christ loved us.
