About the Speaker
Lorraine was born and raised in England’s Second city, Birmingham, a multicultural city where the locals are proudly known as “Brummies’.
The youngest of three siblings, Lorraine’s childhood, and that of her family, was marred by what she later was able to name as, a series of traumatic life events. However, because of the Godly influence of her mother, who provided a nurturing and stabilizing home environment, she learned at an early age that God was her ‘shelter in times of storm’.
Lorraine’s formal educational background is in Education and Law with a specialization in The International Protection of Human Rights. Lorraine’s career spans the UK, India, Canada and the USA where she has worked in the education, advocacy, compliance, civil rights and the diplomatic sectors.
However, a divine encounter in Canada started her to go on a quest to understand the long term impact the childhood trauma had on her life. As a result, Lorraine’s professional focus shifted. Lorraine began to research the mind which led her into the incredible world of neuroscience and coaching.
Fast forward, Lorraine has finally found what she believes was created to do. After becoming certified as a Neuroscience Coach and Leader with specializations in Neuro Education, Neuro Health, Neuro Relationships, Neuro Leadership and Neuro Spirituality, Lorraine founded The 40 Day Mind Makeover Experience.
The Mind Makeover Experience was created for those, who like herself have experienced childhood or adult adverse (traumatic) experiences and have consequently struggled to reach their full potential due to the excess mind scars they are carrying. However, organizations and leaders have also benefited from the Mind Makeover Experience.
Lorraine’s clients come from around the globe – from the UK the USA, Canada, India, Singapore, Australia, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Trinidad & Tobago, Malaysia and counting. Just like her clients, Lorraine and her husband Dr. Kingsley Palmer consider themselves to be Global citizens and enjoy the opportunity to travel, with favorite destinations, so far, being Vancouver, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa.
Lorraine is on a mission to empower people to heal their mind scars so they can finally, and authentically birth their buried dreams and make the impact they were created to make in this world and for eternity.
