About the Speaker

Gianna Snell is a self-proclaimed “southern girl.” A daughter of a pastor, she was born in Selma, AL and grew up in Nashville, TN. She attended Oakwood University for two years and then transferred to Andrews University where she graduated with dual degrees in Photographic Imaging and Communication.

Three months later, she married the love of her life, Pastor Debleaire Snell, who was in his second year of ministry in Columbus, Mississippi. They have been married now for nearly 17 years and currently reside in Huntsville, AL where Debleaire pastors First Church.

Gianna is a published writer, a budding speaker and an accomplished portrait artist. She owns her own company, Gianna Snell Photography and loves capturing the genuine connections and expressions of her clients.

She is the founder of Psalm 113:9 Ministries, a support group that seeks to encourage women who are struggling with infertility, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, with a promise God gave Gianna after her losses, that God can settle barren women in their homes as happy mothers of children. (Psalm 113:9)
She is a witness because they lost 4 babies but God restored! And they are now grateful parents to three miracle children.
In 2020, this ministry was relaunched as They That Wait Ministries which aims to help people who are waiting on God to answer any type of prayer, from waiting for marriage to waiting for purpose, wait well.

In her spare time, Gianna loves to listen to music, sing and dance, SHOP, and spend time with family.

Her mantra to live by is:
