About the Campaign
Fredrick Justas Chimphondah was born on 16 March 1942, and was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather. He achieved much in his education and career. From Lab Technician to heading the Chemistry department at the University of Rhodesia after being awarded the opportunity to study Chemistry further in the UK, to being appointed as Dean. When Zimbabwe obtained its independence, he retired and went into business and became an extremely successful entrepreneur, setting up clothing shops, bakeries, butcheries, takeaway shops and eventually bought an Engineering Company called Stainless Steel Products. During his entrepreneurial career, he was asked to Chair several Boards of listed Companies in Zimbabwe.
Fredrick loved God and had a passion for searching scripture and most of all singing.
He is survived by his wife Janet (to whom he was married to for 57 years), 3 sons Wilfred, Andrew and Eugene, and last born daughter Madalitso and 8 grandchildren
